How to Dispatch Drivers with WeighPay GPS Routing

Build a route, dispatch it to a driver's phone, and watch live GPS progress with proof-of-service capture — all in WeighPay RouteLink.

What you'll need

1. Create the route
Open Dispatch → New Route. Pick a date, truck, and driver, then add the stops you need to service.
2. Optimize stop order
Click Optimize. WeighPay reorders stops to minimize drive time using live traffic and each customer's service window.
3. Send the route to the driver
Click Dispatch. The driver receives the route on their RouteLink phone app with turn-by-turn navigation and a digital manifest.
4. Track live progress
Watch the Dispatch Map. Each truck icon shows current location, ETA to next stop, and stops completed.
5. Capture proof of service
At each stop the driver snaps a photo and (if required) collects a signature. Both upload to the ticket in real time.
6. Close the route
When the driver returns to the yard, the route auto-closes. Open Reports → Route Summary to review stops, miles, idle time, and POD photos.
